A Brief Photographic Examination of the Depth With Which Our Family Rolls · 25 January 08

The Family That Runs Bombay

Conclusion: Rather deep indeed.

Yes, this is just the immediate family and some of the first cousins and aunts and uncles. Unfortunately, not everyone could make it.

Most of these folks live in or around Bhendi Bazaar (**) in Mumbai, with others in the greater Mumbai area, three in America, and one in China.

And me, who’s now back in Japan. But expect a ton of Indian photos on the this weekend and, starting next week, a flurry of Indian stories on kidethnic.com . Get hype.

**

(sometimes spelled ‘Bhindi Bazaar’, the name means ‘Okra Market’).
