I’m taking a couple weeks to lay low with the family in India.

Not so many internet connections here, and I’m headed to do some pilgrimmaging in Saudi Arabia next week. So, I won’t post much until the end of January.

But more stories soon to come. This I promise with my whole half-blooded heart.

  1. hope youre having a good time in india. its probably nice and warm. yo, when you come back you should write a page on your pet peeves about living in japan. then have people comment and maybe include their own. my #1: trying to take a dump in a japanese school squatter toilet in the dead of winter.

  2. The coverse of such pet peeves, apart from the wierdly alien smell in school lavatories, is sitting on a nice, western style John Crapper and feeling that electrically warmed seat. That is progress, ladies and gentlemen, that is progress.
