Primates, Kimonos, and the Three Words of Ronald · 21 December 05

everyone love monkey

Fans of the bee-killing manchild will recall that each week my students write me a letter. And that I love these letters with a passion.

From a recent favorite:

...Next Saturday [there is a] wedding ceremony.
I will wear a Kimono.
It is so [nice].
This is my first time to attending the wedding ceremony.
By the way do you like monkey?
I’m loving it.
Because they are sooo cute!

[Letter ends there]

Now, see, that’s a good writer. Notes things might be getting a little mundane and is unafraid to push words in an entirely new (Mc)direction™.

Fun-Young-Author-Who-Shall-Remain-Anonymous, I salute you. For when it comes to monkey, I, too, am lovin’ it.
